In my first day in my apprenticeship I was instructed to run several errands. My master Mr. Edes is a Patriot. He will only allow me to do business with other patriots. It seemed like loyalist and patriots were not very nice to one another. Both groups do not say nice things to one another or about one another. The patriots seem to stir up a lot of trouble. I think something bad is going to happen. I was able to complete all of my tasks. I found 3 people to put an advertisement in the paper. One was a merchant. She sells goods that she makes. Another was a young lady who has lost her dog. The final one was sold to man selling a piece of land. His slave wrote the ad and placed it for him. I learned that one very common job was a British solider. They didn't like their job very much. They didn't like the way the patriots treated them. They wanted to go home to England but they understood it was their job to serve the king. The most interesting place I went today was the ship yard. There were lots of people there to talk to and lots to look at. They used to ship everything. I wonder if that is still how they ship things today? Everything came in small crates and there wasn't that much of one item. Tomorrow I'm excited to see what tasks I have and to explore Boston more!
This tool allows students to quickly share their thoughts and experiences with the game with their classmates. Without this tool the students would not be able to quickly read their classmates experiences and learn from them. Also, with the comment tool the students will be able ask each other questions and have discussions.
The students will read and get the content about the American Revolution. The students are able to get additional content that I choose to put in there such as videos or websites. The students are also able to join a live session in class and answer questions, take a survey, or leave comments.

This tool allows me to monitor my students learning immediately. It also allows me to differentiate instruction. I can provide some students with a read aloud accommodation. Finally, it allows students once again to interact and respond to each other quickly and efficiently.
This tool will be used to organize my unit. It allows me to easily communicate with my students. The students can access assignments as well as write posts, comment on posts, and communicate with the teacher. Finally, the tool allows me to put my students in groups which allows me to modify assignments for certain groups of students. Unfortunately, this tool does not allow for embedding so instead I embedded a video showing how to use the tool.
Edmodo

This tool allows me to communicate with all of my kids easily. It also allows me to discreetly differentiate assignments. Finally, it allows students access their assignments so they can work at their own pace. It eliminates the what do I do now question.
The students will use this to collaborate on a project. The students will work in groups and they will choose one person that had an impact on the revolutionary war. They will then create media pieces that explain the role they played and the events they were involved in. They will work as a team creating these and then they will be all placed in Thinglink so they may share it with the other students.
Thinglink

This tool allows the students to easily collect all of their digital creations and share them in one place.
